These pioneers introduced American-made platform beds and futons to Los Angeles, revolutionizing the local furniture industry. In 2017, Bedfellows faced adversity when our store caught fire. However, in the spirit of resilience, we reinvented ourselves just two doors away. Meet the Business Owner - Neil L. Meet Neil Land, the creative force behind Bedfellows American Leather Studio. Neil's journey began in the bustling city of NYC, where he honed his passion for unique handmade furniture. In the late '70s, he revolutionized the LA furniture scene by introducing futons. In 1978, Neil opened the doors to Bedfellows, swiftly becoming renowned for high-quality contemporary designs, vintage art, and accessories. After a devastating fire, Neil rebuilt and relocated just two doors down, ensuring Bedfellows' legacy of delivering quality and style lives on in Studio City, CA, and beyond.
